Privacy & security

Two homes. Two private accounts.

CoHaven holds sensitive logistics for two separate households. The shared plan is shared. Everything else stays yours.

Your home
  • Your private notes
  • Your own reminders
  • Your drafts before sending

Private to you

Shared
  • The custody calendar
  • Shared costs and receipts
  • Child records and documents

What we do

The commitments behind that split.

Encrypted in transit and at rest

Household data is encrypted on the wire and in storage, with keys managed separately from the application.

Separate accounts, one shared plan

Each parent signs in to their own account. You share the logistics, never each other’s private notes or drafts.

Share a record without sharing an account

Give a sitter or grandparent read-only access to exactly what they need — an insurance card, a pickup time — and nothing else.

Export or delete, whenever you want

Take a clean copy of your records at any time, or delete the account for good. It is your family’s data.

What we never do

Some things should not need a policy page.

Read the full detail in our privacy policy.

  • Sell or share your household data with advertisers
  • Show one parent the other’s private notes or drafts
  • Use your children’s information to train advertising models
  • Lock your records behind a subscription you have cancelled

Set it up before you invite anyone.

Build the schedule, add the records, see how it feels. Your co-parent joins only when you are ready.
