How we use information
To provide the app, sync household logistics, support users, protect accounts, improve reliability, and communicate service updates.
Household data
Household data is used to operate CoHaven for the invited household users. CoHaven is not built to sell parent or child data to advertisers.
Service providers
CoHaven may use infrastructure, analytics, email, payment, and support providers that process data on its behalf.
Google Calendar integration
If you choose to connect Google Calendar, CoHaven requests permission to read and write your calendar events through Google APIs. We use this access only to sync your co-parenting schedule between CoHaven and your Google Calendar at your direction — for example, mirroring CoHaven events to your calendar and reflecting your changes back. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time, which stops further access and removes the stored connection.
Google API Limited Use
CoHaven's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, do not sell it, and do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide the calendar-sync feature you enabled, comply with law, or as part of a security operation. We do not use Google user data to train generalized AI models.
Retention and deletion
CoHaven keeps information while accounts are active or as needed for security, legal, support, and operational purposes. Google Calendar data obtained through the integration is retained only while the integration is connected and is deleted when you disconnect it or delete your account.
